The Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development is launching a Learning Collaborative to provide a space for education, coaching, and peer-to-peer support around workforce retention, recruitment, compensation, and health and wellness issues for home visiting programs. The Learning Collaborative aims to strengthen local home visiting programs' capacity to recruit, retain, and support a skilled workforce committed to promoting the health and well-being of families and communities.

Who Can Apply?Organizations implementing home visiting programs, including MIECHV and Tribal MIECHV-funded and programs funded from other sources, are encouraged to apply. The teams of 3-4 people may include home-visiting supervisors, human resources personnel or liaisons, program leads, funders, division directors, and evaluators. Depending on the structure of your program, it may be beneficial to include state/territory/tribal community-level representation as well.
Selection Process
Applications are due by September 16th COB. Approximately 12-15 home visiting
programs will be selected. Participants will be notified by September 27th, and
an informational webinar will be on August 15th. Participation will conclude in
February 2025. Teams will be selected based on their willingness to participate in all sessions, commitment from those in diverse roles within the program, and interest in applying strategies to improve workforce wellbeing.
