Because we want to do all we can to support our neighbors in need during this difficult season, the Elliot Park Winter Warmth & Resource Day will offer to our neighbors:

A community meal and warm & caring welcome
Interactive community resource tables, offering needed giveaways/services & community resource connection
Donated winter coats and warm clothes
Food & hygiene supplies distribution

Event Title: Elliot Park Winter Warmth & Resource Day (COMING SOON: Flyer: PDF + PNG)

Date & Time: Tuesday, December 16th, 2-4pm
Location: Indoors at Elliot Park & Rec Center, 1000 E. 14th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55404 (**during construction: enter on 8th St. side).
Main event co-sponsors: EPNI, MPRB - Elliot Park, City of Minneapolis, Jericho Road & other neighborhood partner organizations.

I can help gather donations of winter coats and warm clothing for distribution at the event.

I can volunteer with event setup on Monday, December 15th (afternoon time TBD).

I can volunteer with event setup on Tuesday, December 16th (noon-2pm).

I can volunteer during the event on Tuesday, December 16th (2-4p + 4-4:30pm cleanup).

I can help promote the event and invite Elliot Park neighbors by helping post & share flyers.

**NOTE: Please deliver all coat/clothing, non-perishable food or hygiene donations to Elliot Park & Rec. Center (1000 E. 14th St. - enter on 8th St. during construction.)

**NOTE: Money donations can be made securely through the EPNI website: https://www.elliotpark.org/donate

I can donate gently used winter coats, winter outerwear (hats, scarves, mittens, warm socks, boots) and warm clothing.

I can donate non-perishable food items for the food distribution. (NOTE: "grab & go" food items are greatly needed, including high protein or nutritional items not needing cooking.)

I can donate commercially prepared hot food for the community meal. (For health reasons, no homecooked food items can be accepted.)

I can donate hygiene/basic needs items for distribution (e.g., toiletries, hand warmers, warm socks, menstrual products, etc.)

I can make a tax-deductible donation of money to support this event (donations can be made securely through the EPNI website: https://www.elliotpark.org/donate )
