Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants use a GPS device to navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates where a cache is hidden. After an introduction to geocaching and the GPS device, we'll head out and geocache around the Park. Plan on walking 2+ miles so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.
For all ages. Families and individuals welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a participating adult. Recommended for ages 8+, but all are welcome!
Park in the circular parking area at the end of the park road near the trail head. Meet in front of the small building with the restrooms (not the office at the entrance to the park).
