RECORDING QUIZZES: TECHNOLOGY-BASED TAKE HOME ASSIGNMENT FOR MUSIC

DEADLINE: 11:59pm on Friday, March 3, 2017
This assessment gives you the opportunity to present a polished individual performance. You receive immediate feedback by being able to listen to your own recording as well as feedback from me. By completing this at home, we save valuable class time for ensemble rehearsal. You can record as many times as you need to until you have a recording you are happy with. I recommend saving each one with a new name rather than deleting them. Submit only one, so submit your best one.

SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS FOR LGPE RECORDING QUIZ:
1) Set up the recording device. Cell phones are fine. There are many free apps which allow voice recording, or you can send a video. This submission will only be graded on audio.
2) Announce your name and what part you are singing. (i.e., "This is Smarty A. Student singing the Alto 2 part of the Clausen piece.")
3) Sing along with the track for your voice part. Start with the Rene Clausen piece, "Oh, My Luve's Like a Red, Red Rose."
4) Repeat step 3 for Elijah Rock.

HOW TO TURN IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT
1) Follow the assignment directions above to make a video for your recording quiz.
2) After you are satisfied with your recording, save it in some way and upload it to the Internet, to something like Google Drive, OneDrive, or YouTube.
3) Get a shareable link. Make sure to set your privacy settings for the video so that it is unlisted NOT private, with access only for those who have a link.
4) COMPLETE THIS FORM, pasting the link to your video when prompted to do so.
