Instructor to child ratios are one instructor per 12 children. If your child requires one-on-one supervision, they may not be eligible for this program. This is to ensure that the instructor can supervise all children at all times.
Behavior Expectations
Respectful, safe behavior is required at all times. The following behaviors are not permitted under any circumstances:
- Hitting, kicking, or other physical aggression toward students, staff, or animals
- Leaving the program area without the group (“eloping”)
- Refusing to leave an area when the group is leaving
- Destruction of museum property or the belongings of others
- Temper tantrums involving excessive screaming, throwing objects, flipping furniture, or similar behavior
- Defiant, unruly, or intentionally disruptive conduct
- Bullying, name-calling, or teasing
- Discussions of inappropriate, non-age-appropriate, or unsafe topics
- Phones and other screen devices are not allowed. If a child brings a phone it must be put away in their backpack until they are picked up by a parent.
Zero Tolerance Policy
For the safety of all participants, the above behaviors may result in immediate dismissal from the program without refund.
