Local Bicycle e-Newsletters

📧 Champaign County has three community bicycle newsletters sent out by email occasionally throughout the year:  the 2025-26 Active Transportation Plan (ATP)Let CU Cycle, and Trails of the Grand Prairie.

We will add your email to our email list with this registration, but you can opt out below, or at any time you wish by clicking "Unsubscribe" in the newsletter.

Giving Opportunity 2025:

To build upon the Bike Month mission, we are raising funds for the Champaign-Urbana Safe Routes to School Project’s (C-U SRTS Project) Earn-a-Bike program. Your gift of whatever size will help purchase bikes to be earned by local students who participate in the program.

Earn-a-Bike program’s goals are to teach student participants basic bike maintenance, repairs and traffic safety skill maneuvers through hands-on demonstration. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded their bike, a bike lock, a pair of bike lights, and a helmet.

Donations can be submitted via PayPal, debit card, credit card, or check. Donations are not tax deductible. After you hit “Submit” to complete your registration, donation links will be sent to you in a confirmation email. Thank you!

To see photos and reports from previous years' Earn-a-Bike programs, visit cu-srtsproject.com/earn-a-bike1. If you have thoughts or questions about C-U SRTS Project, the Earn-a-Bike program, or safety among young cyclists in our community, please add them below.
