Equity Forward Workshop: Strategies for Managing Bias and Discrimination in the Classroom
We all have moments in the learning environment in which we are unsure as to how to respond when a student uses language that is biased or discriminatory. This session will discuss and use, through role play, evidence-based strategies that interrupt microaggressions and discrimination and foster inclusion in the learning environment.
