Virtual Speak Truth & ICCC Registration | November 19th, 2020
Center for Inspired Teaching is excited to invite you to the next Speak Truth and Inspiring Changemakers & Critical Conversationalists (ICCC) seminar! Thank you for your interest in these programs.

Speak Truth brings high school students together for in-depth discussions on contemporary issues. All Speak Truth discussion topics are developed by students and are led by student facilitators.

ICCC is a professional learning opportunity for educators that takes place during and directly after Speak Truth seminars. Once student discussions have concluded, Inspired Teaching expert instructors will lead teachers in activities, guided reflection, and discussion of what they observed during a post-event seminar. Inspired Teaching will supply participants with readings, activity guides, and other resources they can use in their own schools, and will coach these participants through the experience of implementing Speak Truth-style critical conversations with their own students, connected to curriculum and geared towards students’ interests.

Meet new people from around the DMV area, and across the country, all the while taking part in insightful and engaging virtual round-tables!

The topic for the upcoming session will be "Cancel Culture," with a focus on its drawbacks and weaknesses. Look out for a more detailed description and link to the reading before the discussion in a few days.

For safety reasons, we will not be sending out the actual Zoom meeting link until the day of the session, and the Zoom link will require you to register before joining. Please register the day of the meeting using your Zoom account email. Finally, please do not use your school email to sign up below, use a personal email so our emails get to you.

Date: Thursday, November 19th
Time: Speak Truth 6:00 -7:30 pm EST, ICCC 7:30 - 8:30 pm EST

We look forward to another insightful and powerful discussion!
