MountainTown Family Chorus launched to make summer memories
Six-week acapella chorus created for singers of all ages; concert to be June 27

mtssingers@gmail.comThe new MountainTown Family Chorus will feature a short, six-week rehearsal season. It’s for grandparents, parents and children at least 10 years old, for couples, cousins, siblings and friends who are like family. Choral singing experience and the ability to read music are NOT required.
The acapella chorus will have weekly, rehearsals starting Thursday May 23. May 30, June 6, 13, 20 and 24th round out the rehearsal schedule. The project will conclude with two songs performed during the MountainTown Singers’ June 27 summer concert in Staples Family Concert Hall on the campus of Central Michigan University.
The rehearsals will be held in the Morey Education Center, 380 W Blanchard Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858. The venue is just over 10 outside of Mt Pleasant.
The cost to participate is $10 per person. (Scholarships are available) Payment will be accepted at rehearsals.
Song titles and music with learning tracks will be released on or about May 20.
