I. GROUP TOUR VISIT
1. RESERVATION ARRANGEMENT. The client may proceed with the reservation of the Group tour visits with the following rules;
a) Reservation must be made at least two (2) working days prior to the scheduled group tour.
b) Reservation will only be confirmed once payment is made and verified with Tour Confirmation email.
c) Reservation with a tentative number of participants are not allowed and will be automatically canceled.
d) Children aged 3 years old and below are admitted for free.
e) Tour confirmation for reservation is valid only on the tour date stated in the tour confirmation email and will be forfeited on other dates unless otherwise approved.
f) The client acknowledges that one tour date corresponds to one reservation. Should the client book multiple tour dates, separate reservations must be made for each date.
g) The Intramuros Administration (IA) does not provide tour guides for paid tours. A list of DOT Accredited guides is available on the Intramuros website: https://intramuros.gov.ph/guides/. h) The tour reservation cannot be used on a staggered basis and is valid only for the date stated in the order of payment, unless otherwise agreed by both parties.
i) The client acknowledges the operating hours of all managed sites, and any extension of visits beyond such operating hours shall not be permitted.
2. APPLICATION FORM. The client shall observe the following rules for applying a Group Tour reservation through online.
a) Group Tour Reservation Application requires a final, accurate headcount for the proper issuance of the Order of Payment.
b) Applications with a tentative number of participants shall not be accepted and will be automatically canceled. Online applications are strictly for advance payments with a final and accurate headcount.
c) Should the group has fewer than 10 participants, they may proceed to their preferred sites and pay the entrance fees directly at the ticket booth. Please note that the ticket booth accepts cash only.
d) only one (1) revision of the Order of Payment shall be allowed; any additional changes will require a walk-in payment at the ticket booth.
e) All applications received beyond 5:00 PM will be processed on the next working day. Clients are advised to consider weekends, holidays, and other force majeure events that may affect office operations and processing times.
f)
Should the client fail to receive the Order of Payment or any email regarding the tour reservation, they may proceed with walk-in payment directly at the site’s ticket booth considering its
operating hours.
3. ON-SITE ARRANGEMENT. The client must be deemed aware of the following rules for group tour visits on site:
a) Group tour visitors and all other guests shall strictly observe the operating hours of all sites managed by the Intramuros Administration. Entry shall be permitted only upon site opening, completion of payment, completing of the required group headcount. b) Intramuros Administration sites have no designated holding areas for large groups, clients shall ensure their group remains well-organized upon arrival.
c) For group tours paid online, should the group fails to fill all paid slots on the day of the tour, the remaining slots shall be forfeited and may not be used on another date. Please note that these are non-refundable, and any changes in the number of participants must be made prior to the tour.
d) For walk-in group tours, the group may proceed with the payment directly at the ticket booth as long as the ticket attendant is available to assist and process the transaction. Security personnel will be at the entrance for the headcount.
e) Any notice of early entry shall be subject to approval. Early entry is not allowed in museums. Operating hours must be strictly observed, as provided under paragraph (a)(3) of the On-Site Arrangement Provisions.
f) In accordance with R.A. 9003, all visitors (not only those joining a group tour visit) shall observe cleanliness and proper waste segregation.
g) In line with our respect for the cultural heritage site that the group will be entering, a proper observance, such as proper decorum and respectful behavior, should be maintained.
II. PAYMENT PROCESSING
1. PAYMENT WITHIN 24 HOURS. The Intramuros Administration (IA) hereby encourages clients to settle the required fees within 24 hours upon receipt of the Order of Payment via email to ensure the smooth processing of their reservation. A QR code for online payment shall be provided along with the Order of Payment.
2. WHEREAS, the client may process the payment with the following rules;
a) Payments must settle via Gcash/Maya or Walk-in at IA cashier at least two (2) days prior to the tour.
b) Payments may also be made via Landbank over-the-counter deposits, which require 3–5 banking days for verification.
c) Proof of payment must be sent via email for verification purposes.
d) Payments may also be settled directly at the ticket booth on the day of the tour.
3. WHEREAS, if the client opts to pay via Landbank, the tour must be scheduled at least five (5) days in advance, as verification requires 3–5 days.
4. WHEREAS, failure of the client to send proof of payment via email shall result in a delay in the verification of the reservation, as well as in the issuance of the necessary tour confirmation.
5. WHEREAS, the client fails to settle the payment for the reservation. It may still be processed on the day of the tour directly at the gated sites' ticket booth.
6. WHEREAS, if the client fails to attend their tour on the scheduled date, the tour will be forfeited and cannot be applied to another date.
7. WHEREAS, If the client fails to meet the number of paid guests, the unused slots will be forfeited and cannot be used on another date.
III. ISSUANCE OF OFFICIAL RECEIPT
1. NO ALTERATION OF OFFICIAL RECEIPTS. The Intramuros Administration (IA) urges clients to carefully review the information provided in this application to ensure the smooth processing and issuance of the Official Receipt. The following rules for Official Receipt issuance shall apply to the client:
a) The preferred payor name must be entered in the “Complete Name” field of the application form.
b) The date of the payment shall also be the date of issuance of the Official Receipt.
c) Once the Official Receipt is issued, the client may no longer request changes, as the OR policy prohibits alterations. (National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC) of 1997, as amended by Republic Act No. 8424).
2. WHEREAS, if the client provides incorrect details for the Official Receipt, the Intramuros Administration (IA) shall not be held liable. The collecting officer may countersign the mistake, but this does not obligate the IA to issue a new Official Receipt; the countersignature is for acknowledgment purposes only.
3. WHEREAS, should the Official Receipt be needed immediately, walk-in payment is recommended; for payments made online, the Official Receipt shall be issued within two (2) working days after the tour, excluding weekends.
4. WHEREAS, send-bill arrangements are strictly prohibited; failure to comply shall delay the issuance of the Official Receipt.
IV. REFUND, CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING OF GROUP TOUR RESERVATIONS
1. NO REFUND POLICY. The Intramuros Administration does not allow refunds for cancelled tours. However, the client may use the remaining balance for another reservation of Group tour visits by informing the process owner via email at least three (3) days before the scheduled date.
2. WHEREAS, the client may reschedule their cancelled tour that is acknowledged by the Intramuros Administration (IA) via email with the following rules;
a) cancellation must be made at least three (3) days before the scheduled reservation; otherwise, the request shall not be considered.
b) rescheduling privilege can be used one-time only;
c) rescheduling cannot be divided for multiple reservations;.
d) rescheduling should not be on a staggered basis; and
e) new date of tour must be within one year from the original date of the tour.
3. WHEREAS, the reservation may be forfeited should the client fail to comply with or notify the process owner via email regarding the cancellation of the tour.
4. WHEREAS, short-notice cancellation of a reservation shall only be considered in the event of unforeseen natural calamities (e.g., inclement weather, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, etc.) and must be made via email prior to the tour date.
5. WHEREAS, if the client fails to attend their scheduled tour, the tour shall be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled for another day.
V. MUSEUM VISITS
1. MUSEUMS ARE CLOSED EVERY MONDAY.The Intramuros Administration (IA) would like to kindly remind clients of this matter to avoid any inconvenience. Additional reminders for museum visits are as follows;
2. WHEREAS, availability at the Centro de Turismo Intramuros (CDTI) and Museo de Intramuros (MDI) may vary, advance booking and payment are not recommended. Clients are advised to pay entrance fees directly at the ticket booth (walk-in) and may follow IA’s social media for updates on site closures.
3. WHEREAS, the capacities of the museums are provided as follows:
- Casa Manila Museum – 30 pax per batch
- Centro de Turismo Intramuros / Museo de Intramuros – 50 pax per batch
Security personnel on duty will be there to assist.
4. WHEREAS, Intramuros Administration museums have no designated holding areas for large groups, clients shall ensure their group remains well-organized upon arrival.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, all clients who have completed this Application Form for Group Tour Reservation shall be deemed aware of the stated guidelines and policies to avoid errors, inconveniences, and misunderstandings.
