* How do I pay in Euros? Good Question:
You are welcome to pay in USD. However, due to increasing fluctuations in the USD and because all program expenses are incurred in Euros, the final cost must be calculated in Euros.
When we send your payment link (valid for 3 days), the amount will be shown in USD, based on the official EUR/USD exchange rate published by the European Central Bank (ECB) on the day the link is issued. That rate will remain fixed for the 3-day validity period.
We use the ECB’s reference rate as it is widely recognized as an official and reliable benchmark across Europe. For transparency, you can view the current rate directly on the ECB’s official website.
This approach ensures clarity and fairness for everyone involved. Thank you for understanding.
Cancellation policies:
Things happen and cancellations are sometimes necessary. As all the retreats require an immense effort from our team, the time of cancellation will define the refunds as follows:
* Should you have an impediment that forces you to renounce, your deposit can be transferred to another date retreat, provided cancellation is at least 120 days before the beginning of the retreat.
* Should you decide to cancel between the 91st and 119th days before the retreat, a refund of up to 40% of the payment (excluding the deposit) will be provided.
* Should you cancel after the 90th day and prior to the retreat, we are so sorry as we will not be able to refund you. Let’s hope this does not happen.
Please note that because Yoga Retreats are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personal, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together to share expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
Any refunds allowed will incur a 3% processing fee.
Travel Insurance
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. We do not have preferred travel insurance providers, but here's a link to a portal that offers several options ( https://www.insuremytrip.com ).
Please note, it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. We cannot extend refunds or credits for failure to attend, failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation/initial deposit.
Please note, we reserve the right to cancel retreats with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to retreat start date. Release and Connect Yoga Retreats cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
