Action Together New Jersey (ATNJ) is a volunteer activist group founded in 2016.
ATNJ is a civic organization comprised of grassroots leaders, volunteers and activists who believe in our vision of a society that values kindness, an informed citizenry and elected officials who work for the people. We collaborate with like-minded people and organizations. We welcome all who value kindness, collaboration and sharing.
Our focus in 2024 are in four main areas:
- Partisan electoral work to flip congressional district 7 from Republican to Democrat in order to take back the House and protect women's rights to abortion and family planning.
- NONPARTISAN work to recruit and train candidates to run for school boards to prevent book banning and censorship and protect the rights of LGBTQ+ students with BoardBOOST program.
- NONPARTISAN legislative and educational work to transition to clean energy with solar, electrical and wind energy to combat climate change, improve the health and lower energy bills from fossil fuels.
- NONPARTISAN legislative and educational work to increase voting rights and access by repealing the Gag Rule for college students, get DriveUp Ballot Boxes and get rid of the County Line on our ballots.
We specifically focus on youth voters, frontline communities and seniors in our work. If the work above aligns with your values and you want to do your part, please fill and submit this form. You can help remotely even if you do not live in New Jersey.
Please sign up and submit this form if you are interested. We work and meet remotely and in person. Once submitted, you will be emailed for the next steps eg. next meeting or next action. The email will come from "Winn@ATNJ.org."
