Irwin Hart Health Scholarship Award
The Hang Tough Foundation is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to TWO Florida State University students who are planning to enter a career in healthcare-pediatric or child development. The scholarship is open to all FSU students, both undergraduate and graduate; however, preference will be given to those that are Hang Tough FSU Club members. The top 3 applicants will be contacted to set up a telephone interview.

The Hang Tough Foundation was established to provide a comprehensive approach to caring for the entire family that has a child affected by a chronic or life altering illness in the Big Bend area.

Applications are due by Friday April 12, 2019. The top 3 applicants will be contacted to set up a phone interview with a board member. Phone interviews will be completed April 15th through April 26th. The final decision will be announced April 26, 2019.

If the recipient is available, the award will be presented at our annual Glitz and Glitz Gala event on May 3, 2019. This event is our signature fundraising event that allows us to raise the necessary funds to provide our programs and services to Hero's and their families at no cost.
