Young peoples attitudes toward suicide

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this research study which aims to investigate the attitudes of young people on the subject of suicide.

All participants aged between 18 to 25 and living in the UK are welcome to complete this survey.

On the next page is a participant consent form. Please ensure you read this carefully and fully understand it.

The survey begins with general questions about yourself, followed by 19 statements. Please select from the scale whether you 'strongly agree', 'agree', 'neither agree nor disagree', 'disagree' or 'strongly disagree' for each statement.

All data recorded shall remain anonymous and will be kept confidentially.

Participants can withdraw from the study at any time, and do not need a reason to do so. Participants can also withdraw their data any time up until 31st May 2014.

This research is being organised and conducted by an Access to Higher Education student at City College Norwich as part of their Sociological Research unit under the supervision of their tutor.

This research aims to be finalised by July 2014. Upon completion, you may obtain a copy of the report from the researcher. Please leave your email address at the end of the survey should you wish for a copy.
