Born from Knowledge - Ideas 2021
The goal of BfK Ideas 2021 is to reward and disseminate business ideas that are “born from knowledge”, deriving from the scientific and/or technological knowledge of its promoters.

The business ideas must aim at creating science-based products, processes or services that show creativity, innovation and business potential, as well as economic viability. Ideas that combine the technological side with social responsibility are valued.

The business ideas will be evaluated according to the BfK criteria:

a. Scientific and/or Technological basis of the knowledge and/or R&D activities - eligibility criteria;
b. Degree of Innovation of the project or product/process/service;
c. Relevance and Level of Collaboration with other entities for the development of the project, product, process or service, as well as in the development of R&D activities;
d. Intellectual property valorisation (adequacy of knowledge protection means);
e. Impact on Society namely in economic, social, environmental or cultural terms.

 
The participating teams must ensure their presence (represented by at least one of its elements) at the Immersion Programme and at the BfK Ideas 2021 Final Event.

This form must be completed by the point of contact at the Higher Education Institution for this purpose.
