If you are a CURRENT GW student or if you are an alumnus/a who graduated less than 4 years ago, you may already have an account. Sign in to Handshake at https://gwu.joinhandshake.com/login and click on Login using GWU SSO then follow the Single Sign On instructions to log in.

If you are an incoming GW student an account will be created for you closer to the start of the semester. For incoming Fall semester students an account will be created for you in mid July, for incoming Spring semester students an account will be created for you in early January, and for incoming Summer semester students an account will be created for you in mid May.
