Release of Liability
In consideration for Child's acceptance to participate at In the City Camps, Parent and Child, and their heirs, representatives, assigns and next of kin, hereby forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue, and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless In the City Camps and each of their (individually or collectively) affiliates, related entities, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, members, agents and representatives from and with respect to any and all claims, demands, actions, rights of action, and liability, damage, cost loss and expense (including attorneys' fees) of any kind whatsoever, past or present and future, both known and unknown, including those which have not yet arisen or matured, either in law or in equity, arising from, related to or in connection with Child's participation at In the City Camps, or travel by Parent and/or Child to and from In the City Camps, including but not limited to claims for negligence on the part of In the City Camps or any other person or entity, claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act and all other anti-discrimination laws and regulations of any jurisdiction, claims for any delay, accident, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, theft, bodily injury, mental or emotional injury, property damage, illness, death, disease, damage or other cost, loss or expense, of any nature whatsoever.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, in no event will the aggregate liability of In the City Camps for any claim or cause of action arising out of this Agreement or any act or omission involving any Camper exceed an amount equal to the fees paid for such Camper plus the aggregate amount payable by applicable insurance policies insuring In the City Camps.
Photo and Video Release Agreement
Parents and guardians hereby grant In the City Camps and its partners permission to use any photograph, video, image, likeness, utterance, or statement in which Camper may appear or be involved, in whole or in part, in any media, including the internet, for promotional or other purposes, without approval by or compensation to the Camper participant or parent/legal guardian. In signing this form, parents release In the City Camps and its partners from any and all liability in connection with the use of any such photograph, video, image, likeness, utterance, or statement. Parents and guardians also grant In the City Camps all right, title, and interest in any creative works created by their child as part of their child’s camp experience and promise to sign any necessary conveyances to assign the right in any specific work upon request by In the City Camps.
Parents/guardians give permission and consent for photographs to be taken of their child/children during camp activities throughout the year. Parents/guardians give permission and consent that any such photographs may be published and used by In the City Camps, the American Camp Association, the Foundation for Jewish Camp, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, and their agents, to illustrate and promote the camp experience, In the City Camps and its camp programs, or the ACA, FJC, JCamp180, or Jewish Federation.
