Hurricane Harvey Recovery Principles
The road ahead for recovery after Hurricane Harvey will take years for Texans. From past disasters, we know that it will be difficult for many survivors to rebuild their lives, for governmental entities to efficiently and fairly implement disaster relief programs, and for survivors to have a say in the recovery process. We advocate for a just and equitable disaster recovery process that advances the following seven principles:
