Dear Parents,

Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year! I am very honored and extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach your students this year. I will be working hard to ensure the best educational experience for all students. I am looking forward to working with you and your child to make this a wonderful school year.

In 7th grade social studies, we focus on the history of the world from the Roman Empire through the Middle Ages.  Our goal is to not simply learn facts but to explore everything that history has to offer.  This class will use the course content not only to teach your child the important people, places, and events but also to practice valuable skills like reading, writing, critical thinking and problem-solving.  These skills will help your child be successful as they move into 8th grade and high school. Your child will also be given opportunities to be creative and demonstrate his/her knowledge in a variety of ways.

*This class will function online primarily through Google Classroom. If you would like to be invited as a parent to see into your student's Google Classroom please email me.
