Chaperones for MOSS (McCall Outdoor Science School) Fall 2018 for St. Joseph's 6th Grade Students
St. Joseph's Catholic School sends sixth grade students to MOSS each year. This is a week long experience (5 days, 4 nights, Monday-Friday). However, in order to go, we must have parent chaperones. Chaperones are with the students during the day and sleep in the cabins with students at night. We will need 8 male and 8 female chaperones. Chaperones will need to have had their background checks and safe environment training up to date.

St. Joseph's is scheduled to go to MOSS September 10-14. This is early in the school year, so we are asking for the names of those interested now to ensure we will be able to go again next year. We also want to provide families with advance notice, knowing parents often take time off of work to go chaperone.

The students ride on a bus to and from McCall. Parents carpool and drive their own cars and help transport all of students' gear/clothes.

Parents, please consider chaperoning at MOSS. To help us get started, please complete the form below. In order to go we must meet chaperone requirements of both MOSS and the Diocese of Boise.

Thank you for your consideration,

Tony Quilici, Principal
Mary McClure, Middle School Science Teacher
