Greer Middle Weekender Backpack Program 26-27
Please sign my child(ren) up for the Weekender program. I understand my child(ren) will receive a bag of food to consume on days not in attendance. This bag of food is intended only for Greer Middle students.
  • Students should not share food from their bags. If this happens, they will receive one warning, and if it happens again, they will be removed from the program.

  • Students who miss two weeks in a row will also be removed from the list. All absences will be checked using school attendance records.

The first bag will go home August 28.

Greer Middle School’s counseling department is sponsoring our Weekender Backpack program to help our families who may need assistance. The Weekender program will distribute non-perishable, child-friendly food items to supplement meals at home. Each child who participates will receive a small bag of non-perishable, child-friendly food items. However, if your child has any food allergies, be aware that bags are prepared in general, not in consideration of a child with special food needs. Students who misuse the food will be removed from the program. If you have any questions regarding the program, please contact your child’s school counselor. The Weekender program is made possible through generous community donations.
