Each year the Brookline High School Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to deserving students to aid them with their college expenses. The following information is requested so that each application may be judged on its own merit. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic record, activities and contributions to the High School and, most importantly, UNMET FINANCIAL NEED. Awarding of a scholarship is contingent upon a student demonstrating GOOD CITIZENSHIP.
The Committee's award decisions are made in mid-May. This presumes that students will make a decision about which college they will attend before they hear from the Committee. Due to our limited resources students should make admissions decisions independently of the Committee's deliberations. Please bring a copy of the financial aid award letter to Ms. Whelan in room 317 before or on May 1.
