24 - 25 Mission to Mars Teacher Registration (for 5th grade)
Please provide the following information if you are interested in participating in the 24-25 Mission to Mars.

Mission to Mars is a year long program designed for 5th grade students. Students complete hands-on, minds-on activities, called "base operations", in their classroom as they prepare for the simulated manned mission to Mars they will carry out in the spring. 

New Teacher Training(First week in October): New teachers will be required to attend an 8hr in-person training where you will learn all about Mars, get detailed instructions on all classroom activities, receive materials, and win prizes! 

Returning Teachers(September 18): Returning teachers must attend a Zoom meeting but are also welcome to come to the New Teacher Training. 

Mid-Year Meeting(Last week in February): All participating teachers will be required to attend a 1/2 day meeting to prepare for Link-Up Day.  

Link-Up Day (April/May 2025): Everyone will meet at the Albuquerque Convention Center (Mars) for the simulated manned mission to Mars. 

Dates for trainings and meetings will be emailed out in August.
