By volunteering with Shakthi Corporation, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and unpaid. Volunteers are expected to act in a respectful, safe, and responsible manner while representing the organization. Volunteers must maintain confidentiality and protect any personal or sensitive information they may come across while supporting programs or participants.
Volunteers who are business owners or have commercial interests must not use their volunteer role to seek business opportunities or engage in any activity that could create a conflict of interest with Shakthi Corporation.
By participating in Shakthi events and volunteer activities, you grant permission for Shakthi Corporation to photograph, record, or video you during events and to use those images or recordings for promotional, educational, or reporting purposes across print, digital, and social media platforms. If you do not wish to be included in photos or recordings, it is your responsibility to inform the event lead or a Board Member in advance.
Shakthi Corporation is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damages incurred while volunteering. Volunteers agree to follow the organization’s guidelines, policies, and instructions provided by the Board of Directors or Executive Leaders.
