2024 Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Wyoming Application
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites you to the 2024 Wyoming Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (B.O.W.) workshops. Learn the basics of canoeing, archery, intro fly fishing, shooting skills, backpacking, outdoor photography and more. These camps are designed for women at least 18 years old who want to learn basic outdoor skills but all skill levels are welcome. Each session has 4-6 classes that participants will be able to select from.

This is the application for the traditional BOW workshops. If you want to apply for the fly fishing Beyond BOW program, please complete the Beyond BOW application.

Traditional B.O.W. workshops will be offered twice this summer, June 7 - June 9 and July 26 - July 28. B.O.W. takes place at Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp in Dubois, Wyoming. The cost to attend the program is $150. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Scholarships are available for anyone who feels the program fee is a barrier to participation. Please contact william.poole@wyo.gov if you want to be considered for a scholarship to cover the program fee.

The deadline to complete this application is March 31st at 11:59 PM.

For questions, please contact William Poole at william.poole@wyo.gov.
