    Speaker Agreement Terms

    Grant of Copyright Use I understand that GrrCON may record (audio and/or video) the conference proceedings, and that my presentation could be included in any reproduction of the conference materials. I hereby authorize the GrrCON to capture my presentation on audio/visual format or a combination thereof for presentation by GrrCON Conference Organizers. Accordingly, I grant the GrrCON the right to: Reproduce and distribute the handout materials in any format including paper and electronic formats to any audience. Distribute written materials to participants of the GrrCON Conferences. I understand GrrCON is entitled to use my name, biographical information, photo and session descriptions in promotional literature.I warrant that the information contained in my presentation(s) or related presentation materials (a) will be factual and not misleading, (b) will not violate any obligation of confidentiality that I (or my company or organization) has with any third party, (c) will not violate the intellectual property of any third party and (d) will not defame any third party. Agreement to Terms of Speaking Requirements If I am selected to speak, I understand that I must complete and fulfill the following requirements or I will forfeit my speaking slot: 1. I will submit a completed final Abstract and Biography for publication by GrrCON by September 15th, 2017. Should the presentation change after it has been submitted, I agree to notify the GrrCON Event Leader that the presentation has changed and I will submit the changed abstract as soon as feasible and at least 24 hours prior to my scheduled session(s). 2. I will submit a completed presentation for publication by GrrCON by September 15th, 2017. Should the presentation change after it has been submitted, I agree to notify the GrrCON Event Leader that the presentation has changed and I will submit the changed abstract as soon as feasible and at least 24 hours prior to my scheduled session(s). 3. I will be accessible to GrrCON attendees during the published conference hours, including but not limited to, luncheons, breaks and receptions. I will be scheduled to speak at a specific time and date but understand that I may be asked to speak on either date should there be a schedule change. 4. I will complete my presentation in the time allocated to me. 5. I understand that the views and opinions expressed at the conference will be mine and not those of GrrCON. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrrCON against any claims, losses, expenses or damages that may be incurred by GrrCON as a result of my presentation. In particular, I agree that the use of any materials prepared by me will not expose GrrCON to liability for breach of confidence for infringement of copyright or similar liability. Presentation Equipment will be provided in the meeting room in accordance with GrrCON standards. AV available will include a data projector, screen, and microphone. I understand that I am responsible for providing all other necessary equipment, including laptops and machines (with VGA output), to complete my presentation. I understand that I will be responsible for my own hotel and travel expenses. I understand that I will be given 1 GrrCON SPEAKER badge as remuneration for my speaking at the conference. In addition I may be provided an honorarium within 90 days from the end of the conference, after I have completed my presentation. Any honorarium provided is at the sole discretion of the GrrCON administrative body. I have read and agree to the Grant of Copyright Use. I have read the above and understand and agree to the terms as detailed in the Agreement to Terms of Speaking Requirements.
