Artists, Authors and Editors 2023
The annual Artists, Authors, and Editors celebration recognizes the scholarly and creative activities of our faculty, including books, journals, performances, exhibits, recordings and videos published or produced in the previous year.  A celebratory reception showcasing these works will take place on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 4:30 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook, in conjunction with Club Red.  

In the past, submissions have included books, journals, performances, exhibits, recordings, or videos published/produced in the previous calendar year; this year, we are accepting submissions for 2022. You may also submit works that may be digitally displayed.

If you wish to participate, please complete this form. Forms must be completed by Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Eligible publications are those that have gone through a standard review process and are distributed widely. Books should be first editions unless the later edition reflects extensive revisions. Book-length translations and books that have been translated into another language are also accepted. Individual journal articles, individual chapters and CD-ROMS of a previous publication are not eligible.

To have your works on display at the reception, please bring them to the CAS Dean's Office, E3320 Melville Library, no later than Friday, February 17, 2023. Submitted works will be displayed in the Melville Library at a later date, unless you wish to have them returned after the reception. If you are submitting digital content, please submit links/videos when you complete this form.
