In 2023, the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, obtained accreditation from the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) as per the requirements of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). This is an incredible achievement that will enable our graduates to excel further in their professional careers anywhere in the world.

In order to maintain the accreditation standards set by the SLMC, it is of paramount important that the Faculty establishes a comprehensive graduate database that captures the career trajectories and professional achievements of our graduates.
