Girls Primary School Football 2024 Registration
  • North West Football League (NWFL) girls primary school football roster in the Devonport, Latrobe and Kentish Municipalities' for 2024. We are excited to introduce this free sporting opportunity sponsored by NWFL to (girls) students from Grades Four to Six.

Your registration will enable us to provide details via email.

The roster will commence Friday March 1 in Term 1 for 4 weeks.  After we determine the number of school teams, we will create the roster and share with you.  

Broad competition details include:
- Target audience are  girls from Grades Four to Six
- Confident and skilled footballers from Grade Three will be considered
- The roster will be held on Friday.
- ~Aim to provide 30 minutes of skills then short games of 2 x 16 minute halves; registration process will determine final numbers
-  Commence at 3.45pm and conclude at 5pm
- Venues - Girdlestone Park East Devonport.
- Teams will be combined where the interest is not as high/school population prohibits
- Some schools may have two teams
- Football boots needed, mouth guards highly recommended, but not essential
- The competition is seen as independently led, but school supported
- We call on parents with WWVPs to umpire and coach; of course staff are warmly welcomed to participate and make a contribution
- Balls will be provided by AFL Tasmania
- Jumpers or bibs will be provided.

All youth sport relies on parental support. If you can assist, please advise via the questions below. We understand and respect if you are unable.

Please complete this form as soon as possible prior to Friday February 23. Your details will be shared back with respective schools and NWFL Clubs. Photo's for social media for promotional reasons please advise if you wish your child's photo to be used.
