experience at Gentle Giant (Arts Centre Melbourne).

About the Production: Gentle Giant is an immersive, multi-sensory experience for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities where every moment of the performance will be tailored to each child’s ability. The team of Bamboozle performers are experienced in adapting to and interacting with children and young people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Suitability: Gentle Giant has been designed for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities. This production is not recommended for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The child or young person coming to Gentle Giant must be accompanied by one adult carer. The accompanying carer is invited to share in the experience, by forming part of a ‘circle of care,’ which surrounds the six children and young people. The accompanying adult ticket is complimentary.

Additional adults and siblings are welcome to attend with a child or young person. These observer tickets are also complimentary.

Application process: Forms are assessed to ensure performance’s suitability for a child or young person. We will be in contact regarding the outcome of your booking as soon as we have assessed suitability. All online requests will be assessed in order of receipt.
