The Anderson: AFO Faculty Submission Form
The Anderson is issuing an open call for AFO faculty-directed proposals to take place within the Anderson’s third floor gallery space during the Fall 2017 semester. Proposals can range from large, collaborative installation, class projects, performance series, other experimental or 'group exhibition' formats lasting up to one week. Through partnering with AFO faculty, the Anderson staff hope to provide AFO students with exciting opportunities for discovery, engagement, and creative development. Properly conceived, these projects will help set a precedence for ambitious and dynamic practices as students begin their studies at VCU.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Anderson’s curatorial staff and projects will be selected based on strength of proposal. Faculty are encouraged to consider the expansive potential of the galleries that extends beyond using them simply as a critique space.

Selected proposals will be housed in the Anderson's third floor Gallery H. It is STRONGLY SUGGESTED that you visit the space prior to submitting your proposal.

**Please note that the third floor galleries are not wheelchair accessible and may pose a challenge for persons with limited mobility.

**Submissions open: August 28th
Spaces are available between: September 11th - December 15th
The submission period has no deadline, applications will be rolling throughout the Fall semester.

**Please check the public calendar before selecting a date to avoid overlapping dates!
