Blessing Baskets 2025 | Lake Norman

We are excited to host our 3rd Annual #BlessingBaskets in Lake Norman!

Thanksgiving is a time for family, food and gratitude. As a Community, Lake Norman is generous and giving.♥️

As the Holiday approaches, we are aware of many families in the community who are experiencing food insecurity and who would appreciate your blessings. 

What is a #BlessingBasket?
A Blessing Basket is a basket (preferably a laundry basket since they are sturdy and easy to transport), that you personally fill with everything a family needs to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal. We have shared a list below of the minimum contents to add to your basket, but please feel free to add more!

Can you fill a #BlessingBasket or 2? 

Last year, together, with the generosity and love of our community, we were able to bless 114 families with full Thanksgiving meals! With your family, your neighbors, your co-workers or your church, let's come together to fulfill the list provided to bring a "Happy Thanksgiving" to many in LKN!

- HOW MANY CAN YOU COMMIT TO?

The TRANSCENZ Real Estate Group at Keller Williams Lake Norman, Primal Brewery, and the guidance counselors in our local schools, will present a special basket to each family in need identified at their respective schools.

We will host a Blessing Basket "Happy Hour" DROP OFF on Thursday November 20th from 4pm till 7pm at Primal Brewery at 16432 Old Statesville Road in Huntersville.  

Here is the list of items we ask that you add to fill your basket for a family:

(Please consider buying enough for 8 people...leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving!)

✅ Laundry basket to hold the goodies (no bags)
✅ $25 Store gift card for a Turkey or Ham (with disposable baking pan)
✅ 2+ Cans of corn, green beans and cranberries
✅ 2+ Boxes of stuffing and mashed potatoes
✅ 2+ Can/packet of gravy & can of cream of mushroom soup
✅ 2+ Box of muffin/biscuit mix
✅ 2+ Non perishable dessert of your choosing
🌟 Extras if you are inclined - additional food, socks, toys, toiletries, games, laundry detergent etc.
