Girls STEAM Ahead SUCCESS Program Registration and Consent 2019
On behalf of the Office of Assistant Superintendent Dr. Stephen Bournes, the CTE (Career and Technical Education) Department at Rich Township High School District 227, and Homewood Science Center, we are excited to inform you that your daughter has been selected to participate in Girls STEAM Ahead Success.

Rich Township High School District 227 and Homewood Science Center are partnering for the 2019-2020 academic year on this exclusive new program, which will run November-May.

Specially selected students will meet one school period per month to practice setting and meeting goals; develop skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership; and learn about jobs in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

During the program, students will work on individual goals at home and at school, participate in hands-on STEAM activities, be introduced to education and career paths in STEAM, and exercise skills that are essential to success in school, work, and life.
