Imara Roose Inc. is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) mentoring program for girls of color, by women of color. Our mission is to empower black and brown girls to break through systemic barriers and change their trajectory!

To date, we’ve hosted over 250 workshops, 10 field trips, and impacted over 100 girls in our community. Imara Roose mentees are girls (9th-12th grade) who attend ERHS.

All programming will take place virtually during the 2020-21 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the meetings/events listed below, we'll host periodically host  check-ins, community services, fundraisers, and socials.

MENTOR MONDAYS: Required for all mentees, every Monday from 3:45PM-5PM.

COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS: Required for 11th and 12th graders, every Thursday from 3:45PM-5PM.

BIGS-LITTLES: Required for all mentees, at least one 90-minute activity per month, coordinated with their assigned Big Sister.
