Girls Build Computer Science Education Competition
THE GOAL:​
Participate in Computer Science Education Week - December 3-9th, 2018 and tell us about it! Complete at least one of the activities and take images and post to social media so we know it happened.
WHO: Any public middle or high school in LA County that completes these steps will be entered into a lottery to win a field trip for up to 30 students to Microsoft (bus included)


WHAT TO DO:
1. Complete one (1) or more of these activities with a group of students
                 Bring Hour of Code to your school for at least 10 students.

                 Host a CS Tech Jam See Event Kit - https://csedweek.org/educate/cstechjam
                 Promote computer science locally. Get Advocacy Tools - https://csedweek.org/promote
                 Inspire students to try computer science. Start inspiring https://csedweek.org/educate/resources/inspire
2. Post photos on Instagram for documentation.
3. Follow and tag @girls_build and use hashtag #GirlsBuild.
​4. Complete the Girls Build CS Ed Week Form by December 12th to  let us know what you accomplished.

DEADLINE:
Computer Science Education Week ends December 9th.

All schools that enter and meet all requirements above will be entered into a lottery for a chance to win one (1) of the following prizes:
Two (2) schools will each receive a field trip for up to 30 students to a local Microsoft Store. Field trip will include bus, guest speaker and hands on activities
