Idea Lab 2020 RSVP
Do you love big ideas? Do you have an local business idea that you've always wanted feedback on?
Develop your new business idea or help others do so by attending Winneshiek Idea House's IDEA LAB event(s). Together we'll create businesses by our community, for our community!
All events are free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated.
HOW IT WORKS:
After a short welcome, attendees hear a brief synopsis of each entrepreneur's Big Idea.
Attendees choose which Idea to sit with for the first round.
Entrepreneurs describe their Idea to this small group. The group asks clarifying questions. We learn what we don't know!
Groups rotate a few times and by the end of the night each entrepreneur will have made new connections and learned more about what might make their idea most successful in our community.
We reconvene to learn about the development of our Big Ideas.
We take note of Ideas without a home that have been named throughout the evening (i.e. "Ideas for someone else")
This event is a lead-up event to the Fall 2020 Winneshiek Idea House Trout Tank event. Persons interested in applying to be part of the Trout Tank event are strongly encouraged to participate in Idea Lab and Pitch-a-thon.
The Winneshiek Idea House seeks to support a thriving local entrepreneurship ecosystem as a way to make our region an even *better* place to live. Learn more on our web page:
