Help to manage Option 1
As an Independent Organisation, The Self-Directed Support Forum East Renfrewshire (SDSFER) would like to run a pilot.  The aim of this pilot is to see if there is an opportunity for The Forum to help you as an SDS recipient to manage your Option 1 budget / direct payment.  

This would allow you to avail of the benefits from an Option 1 SDS package but with a little or a lot of help from us.  Option 1 allows you to employ a personal assistant to support you with your needs and/or it allows you to manage a budget to purchase items or access opportunities that will help you achieve your outcomes.  

We know that managing a budget can be quite overwhelming and there are a few things to learn along the way.  So we are offering to help you through this process.  You would be able to opt out of this whenever you wanted and you are under no obligation to take any help from us.
