Stanford Mentoring in Data Science - Referral form - NOW CLOSED

Please fill in this form to refer your students to the Stanford Mentoring in Data Science Program. We will contact directly the students you indicate here and ask them to fill in an application/commitment form, so please make sure to enter their e-mail addresses. For organizational purposes we need complete applications by the end of the day, February 28th.

Participants will be paired with Stanford graduate students for on-line, one-on-one mentorship that will expose them to work and research in data science. During weekly online meetings, participants will receive coaching on: planning their course of studies and advice on navigating internship opportunities and preparing applications; tutoring in some aspects of data science; and guidance in engaging in mini-research projects. The program is highly individualized, designed to increase confidence in the participants, and to broaden accessibility to data science. There is no requirement of any time commitment from faculty referring students.
