Due to students attending Kingdom Kids Preschool who have severe peanut and/or nut allergies that are life-threatening in nature, please be advised that we are a “NUT-FREE” Preschool.   Under no circumstances can peanut butter sandwiches, crackers, cookies, or any similar peanut or nut product be allowed in the building at any time. This also includes cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items that are processed on peanut-shared equipment, so please check all labels before sending in any item. All items that contain peanuts or that are processed on peanut-shared equipment have a notification on the label, so please get in the habit of checking this ahead of time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to families whose children do not have this type of allergy, but we hope you will be respectful of our preschool families who must deal with this real threat on a daily basis. Thank you for your understanding.

Periodically, we will have food-related activities, such as special occasions and learning activities which include food consumption.  By signing below, you consent your permission for food activities in the classroom.  The teacher will notify you ahead of time for special occasions, but not for birthday parties in the classroom.

As a Facility, we have chosen not to provide a snack for your child.  We do ask for your cooperation in providing a nutritional snack choice for your child.  Our Facility recommends that you choose a food choice from the USDA My Plate, July 2015 or SnackSafely guidelines which can be found at www.snacksafely.com.  Copies of the USDA MyPlate may be obtained from the USDA website at: https://www.myplate.gov/myplate-plan/widget. A copy is also available to you at our Facility in the Directors’ office.
