The gist:

Learn how to read and see the world in a way that will galvanize your writing practice
Hands-on techniques that can be applied to any kind of creative writing
Flash Fiction focus - stories that are ~1,000 words or fewer
Meets Thursdays in July - 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th. Optional make-up class August 6.
Homework will be assigned and must be completed before next class
If you're looking for heavy critical feedback component, skip this one; we are going to be working on generating content and honing technique

This is going to be an intimate class, capped at 8 people. However, I hope to run iterations and more advanced versions of this class (and poetry classes!) in the future. Doesn't hurt to fill out the form and indicate whether you'd like to be contacted for future creative writing crash courses.
