The Federal Government has made funding available through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF). The District asks the parents or guardians of its students to complete the survey below once for each child attending school in the District to determine who has an unmet need.
Do each of your children attending school in the District have a connected device (e.g., laptop, tablet) sufficient to simultaneously engage in remote learning? To be sufficient to engage in the District's learning program, each device must have WiFi capability, a video camera, and the ability to stream video. A smartphone is not considered sufficient for this purpose. School-owned devices should not be considered in your response.
Do each of your children attending school in the District have access to Internet service sufficient to simultaneously engage in off-campus remote learning? To be sufficient, your Internet access service should provide enough bandwidth to allow all of your children to participate in off-campus learning simultaneously. Services already provided by the District should not be considered in your response.
