Breast Health and the Environment among Latinas in Los Angeles - BELLA Study
The University of Southern California (USC) and Esperanza Community Housing invite you to participate in a study on Breast Health and the Environment among Latinas in Los Angeles. The research seeks to assess the impact of air pollution on mammographic density by comparing Latina women.

The study includes a phone survey that lasts about an hour. We will explain the study to you in detail and ask for permission to access your mammograms. Through these studies we can learn about the environmental impacts on breast density. We also ask for samples of your toenails to learn more about your exposure to metals.

As a thank you for participating, you will receive a $25 gift card that you can use at Ralphs or Food4Less when you have completed the phone survey.

If you want to participate, complete this brief questionnaire or call Amanda Jimenez at (323) 246-1460.
