Pathway to MACC/MTax Program Application
The Pathway Program is for students with non-Accountancy undergraduate majors who are interested in obtaining a Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics (MACC) or Master of Taxation and Data Analytics (MTax) degree. The Pathway Program provides students a “shortcut” to completion of the MACC/MTax prerequisite courses.

To apply for the Pathway Program, you must have completed a minimum of 45 college credits.

If you have already graduated with an undergraduate degree, you may still participate in the Pathway Program. If your Pathway application is approved, you would need to apply to ASU as a non-degree seeking graduate student. Please note non-degree seeking is a part-time student status which does not qualify for financial aid or a student visa.

Please note: Admission to the Pathway Program is not a guarantee of admission to the MACC or MTax program. A separate application is required to be considered for those programs. Competitive applicants for the MACC or MTax program will have earned grades of “B” or better in each Pathway Program course. Y or Pass grades are not accepted. *
