Art Walk Policies and Procedures
Art Walk is an opportunity for artists and artisans to promote and sell artwork. It is an event with the participation of local galleries, shops, and restaurants throughout downtown Concord.
Artists register for vendor space on the front lawn of the Cabarrus Arts Council. 10 x 10 foot spaces are assigned to registered artists the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.
Art Walks are planned and organized by the Cabarrus Arts Council with the goal of bringing together artists and community.

General Information:
Artist or artist representative must be with the artwork the entire time.
Sales occur between the artist and the buyer. The Cabarrus Arts Council does not charge a commission nor do we process sales.
Artist is responsible for all sales tax and must sign a waiver prior to participation.

3-6 pm on the day of Art Walk. Please check in at the Cabarrus Arts Council at 65 Union Street South, Concord.
Artist is responsible for overall display of work.

The Cabarrus Arts Council does not provide insurance. Artists exhibit artwork at their own risk.

Artists may park in any available spaces. Suggested parking is on Means Avenue (2 hour until 6pm) and the parking deck on Spring Street and Barbrick Avenue. No parking spaces will be reserved.

Equipment needs:
Each artist must provide their own equipment for display.

Leave No Trace:
Clean up your space, remove your trash. Leave the space as you found it.

Departure Time:
9:30 pm
All art, displays and trash must be removed by this time. Artists are responsible for all of their items. Any items left will be discarded.

Cabarrus Arts Council reserves the right to remove the artwork of any artist not in compliance with the above policies and procedures.
Artists who do not follow the policies may not be allowed to participate in future art walks.
