Community giving: our guidelines

At The Bookshop Bowral and Kiama, we are pleased to receive invitations to support local initiatives. We support as many as we can.

Throughout the year, we sponsor the Southern Highlands Writers Festival, the Kiama Readers Festival and the BDAS Celebrity Portrait Competition.

We also give to our major charity partners, Pop In Southern Highlands, Reading Friends Australia and Mummy's Wish.

Upon request, The Bookshop Bowral and Kiama also donates to causes that meet our criteria for support. Because we receive so many requests, we ask you to put your request in writing. This helps with our administration and budgeting, and guides our decision-making.

We’re always pleased to hear about local events and charities.
