The Piazza della Famiglia opened in March of 2018. Visitors and residents can stroll through the 10,000-square-foot European-style piazza on W. Date Street, connecting India and Columbia Streets. A beautiful, tiled fountain sits at the East side of the Piazza and tables and chairs with umbrellas line the cobblestone street—inviting the public to take in the beautiful scene and San Diego Bay views over lunch, coffee or a gathering with friends and family. Piazza della Famiglia is located in the “heart” of Little Italy and is dedicated to the past, present, and future families of the Little Italy neighborhood. It has become a central community gathering place to host farmers’ markets, concerts, cultural events, and more. A new addition in 2021 is the Piazza della Famiglia dedication monument on the West side of the Piazza. The monument holds the story of the Piazza and those that helped bring it to fruition and depicts an embossed olive tree – the symbol of the Piazza della Famiglia. The olive tree was selected as a symbol of family, the strong roots and trunk that nourish the offspring that brings new life and family for generations.

Piazza della Famiglia is a mix of public, residential, retail and restaurant space, including 125 luxury apartment homes over 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurants on the ground levels surrounding the Piazza. Businesses at the Piazza include Farmer’s Table, Morning Glory, Little Italy Food Hall, Graze by Sam, Frost Me Café & Bakery, and Princess Pub & Grille.

Merchant Fees for 8' x 5' flex space ONLY:

Areas within Main Courtyard: $265.00

Merchant Fees for 6' x 3' flex space ONLY:

Areas within the Main Courtyard: $205.00

**Absolutely No Food Merchants whatsoever will be permitted to attend this Marketplace. **

Terms for invoices:
All invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receiving, all invoices are non-refundable, non-transferrable, non-exchangeable under any circumstances. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

Payment Plans are available for this Marketplace and will be as follows:

1. Single Market Merchants: You can choose any one market on the application; you will be billed according to the date you have chosen.

2. Choose 6 Market Merchants: You can choose any six markets on the application; you will be billed according to the dates you have chosen and will receive an automatic 5% off your total invoice payment. If you choose our Payment Option, you will be responsible for paying your first invoice in the amount of your selected space value within 48 hours from receipt, and the following payments will be scheduled according to every three weeks, until your invoice balance is paid off. No exceptions will be made.

3. One Year Resident Merchant: You can choose all 12 markets on the application; you will be billed according to the dates you have chosen and will receive an automatic 10% off your total invoice payment. If you choose our Payment Option, you will be responsible for paying your first invoice in the amount of your selected space value within 48 hours from receipt, and the following payments will be scheduled and will be reoccurring on the 5th of every month thereafter. Your first invoice Resident Invoice will be set up and paid by the fifth of every month, beginning Jan. 5, 2025. Should you avoid paying your invoice by the fifth of the month, you will automatically forfeit your space, no exceptions will be made. A contract will be signed as well stating these regulations specifically for our One Year Resident Merchants in Little Italy.

Weather Conditions and Applicable Transfer for Markets: Should we move a market date, or skip due to unforeseen weather circumstances, your money paid will be rolled over to the following market and will have a credit towards a future market with us in Little Italy. No fees are refundable, and all will be transferred accordingly.

Additional Information:
Once we have received your first payment within 48 hours of your approved Merchant application, you will be guaranteed a space at the Market. Inability to pay your invoice within this time, will forfeit your spot and you will not be eligible to reapply to the Market.

New Rules & Regulations regarding Permanent Jewelry, Trucker Hats and Charm Bars:

Due to the influx and demand for the categories of Permanent Jewelry, Charm Bars, and Trucker Hat Bars, we will not allow any merchant to participate as a single applicant and merchant and sell multiple services at our marketplaces. For example, if you sell Permanent Jewelry, and select Permanent Jewelry, you cannot sell other categories including Charm Bar, or Jewelry. You MUST select one or multiple, and you will be billed for both categories selected. If you are, for example, a permanent jewelry merchant, and also have a charm bar, you can select both options and will be billed for two spaces accordingly.

Curated Market Guidelines & Agreement:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY before Applying.

Requirements:
1. You must be the Maker and or Artisan of your Brand and or Product. No MLM or Direct Selling will be permitted, NO service-based businesses.
2. Products can include: Ceramics, Fiber Art, Jewelry, Painting, Watercolor, Floral, Wood Working, Illustration, Home Décor, Hand Sewn Clothing, Boutiques and Pop-Up Shop Clothing, Candle Art, Bath and Body to name a few. Please Note: All CBD products will be evaluated and reviewed prior to approval.
3. This is a FINAL SALE purchase, and all sales will be made payable via invoice and MUST BE MADE within 48 hours to hold your spot.
4. This is an OUTDOOR Pop-Up and is Rain or Shine.
5. Umbrellas are Permitted as long as they are under 7 ft in width, White Tablecloth (preferred) and Table must be provided by the Artist.
6. Caliber of Artisan goods will be highly reviewed, and Artist must be able to provide a valid Sellers Permit. (Exceptions will be made for anyone not collecting sales tax on goods sold, including those who consider their business a "hobby").
7. All Vendor Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE, NON-TRANSFERRABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Please allow a member of the FMM team to review and process your application between 2-5 business days. We promise, we will respond.

** Merchant Load-In will begin 2 hours prior to event start time, and tear down is one hour after event ending, no exceptions. **

PARKING: ADJACENT PUBLIC LOTS WILL BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE MARKET MERCHANTS, AND PUBLIC PARKING IS NOT COVERED BY YOUR MERCHANT FEES AND MUST BE PAID DIRECTLY TO PUBLICLY RUN LOTS.

I understand that once my Invoice is received, I must pay in full within 48 hours of receipt, and that my space will not be held under any circumstances after 48 hours of non-payment.

I understand that The Female Maker Market LLC is not responsible for any Covid-19 related contraction during the Market, and if I am experiencing any Covid-19 type symptoms, I will refrain from attending the market out of consideration for the Female Maker Market CommUNITY.

I understand that my fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and under no circumstances will exceptions be made.

I understand, that FMM and its team have the right to decline an applicant and reserve the right to the jury decision on all applicants. I also understand, that FMM reserves the right to maintain ethics and integrity of its CommUNITY, and will not allow for any brands to be accepted that are not in alignment with our company guidelines and mission statement.

I agree to sign the Indemnity Agreement, Compliance and Guidelines contract once it is received to me within 48 hours of receipt, and contract MUST be completed 2 weeks prior to date of event. This is mandatory for all Merchants.

I certify that I will not be selling any products and or goods containing THC and or other substances not compliant with FMM expectations. CBD is acceptable when in products.

I understand and have read the space dimensions, and I will not go beyond these dimensions under any circumstances.
