JA in a Day | Dec 17
This is a day dedicated to teaching children (k-12) about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills. Volunteers are needed to present the JA curriculum to students – giving students the opportunity to benefit from the volunteer’s background and experience.
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in an increasingly competitive global economy. We do so by helping teachers support their students with 21st century skills including entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness.
Volunteering for Junior Achievement is FUN and EASY!
• All hands-on materials, including teaching guide is provided.
• A brief training for first time volunteers only, will be held at the school, you’ll receive the materials
• Five sessions of 25-40 minutes each, taught consecutively in one day
