Succubuns is currently working on putting out a set of official bases that users will be able to purchase with carats or USD to help design their succubuns. Eventually, we will also be releasing premade outfits that fit on these bases, purchasable with USD.
However, we're unsure of the best direction to go with for handling different body types. As is common with any sort of doll or dress-up game, we're faced with a dilemma: we don't want to treat thin bodies as the default, but we have limited resources to spend on outfits and bases for different body types.
Here are the two options we're currently considering:
Option 1) There is one standard base with a slim androgynous build (+ optional breasts). All outfits are designed to fit the standard base, so a character on this base can wear any outfit. 3-4 additional body types will be released at launch, with the possibility for bases with additional body types and poses to be released later on—however, none of these other bases will be able to wear outfits.
Option 2) There is a set of 4 standard bases: slim, curvy, muscular, and chubby (all with optional breasts). All four will be able to wear outfits; we can either release a smaller number of outfits that fit all 4, or limit outfits to fitting one base each. These four bases will all be treated equally, and no other bases will be added later on.
Option 1 allows for more freedom in designing outfits and additional bases, but does require designating one "standard" body type. Option 2 gives equal attention to several different body types, but will decrease the total number of bases and outfits that we will be able to release.
