Our market opens on Saturday, May 4, 2019 and will run every Saturday for 24 weeks, ending the regular season on Saturday, October 5 and our Annual Fall Market on Saturday, November 23. This year the 16th Annual Bug & Bud Festival is scheduled on Opening Day of the Market from 9am - 4pm. Vendors have the opportunity to stay set-up the whole day as we are taking this opportunity to promote the start of the Market Season. We will send out more information as we get closer to that date.
We provide a 10’ x 10’ space. This year we will NOT be providing tents or tables due to the lack of set-up help and no one interested in managing the set-up and break-down of the Market. We will have a volunteer available during set-up to make sure vendors are assigned their proper location. Tents and tables are available to rent for an additional fee. The vendor will be responsible for picking up their tables and tent from the shed, setting them up in the assigned area and for returning them to the shed at the end of the market day. Tents are only mandatory for food vendors and you are welcome to bring your own.
It is important that we have a consistent number of vendors each week and we encourage our vendors to attend on a regular basis. We are making it even more advantageous to pay in advance and commit for the full season. Please see the included “Rules of the Market” for complete details on payment discounts and tent and table rentals.
The committee is looking forward to a great year at the Market and to continued growth in revenue. We have a great newsletter sent to customers several times a month and advertise in local newspapers.
Please have your application completed and payment sent to us before Sunday, March 31, 2019. We can be contacted by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
