A new offering at Conners Emerson is a middle school elective in photojournalism in partnership with the Mount Desert Islander to publish student writing, photos, and artwork as well as school news in the newspaper. This would also apply to the Islander’s digital publication. Publication will include student first names and the school they attend. The photojournalists may like to report classwork and news from any grade, so even younger students may appear in the paper. Please fill out this form so we know if we have permission to publish writing, photos and artwork along with student first names and the school they attend in the Islander. If you have more than one child, please fill it out for each student. If you do not respond, the assumption is we will NOT include photos/work from this student in the Islander.
